It takes care of the initial analysis of the text, subsequent reworking in the target language, uniformity of technical terminology, and quality control. This is achieved through the use of suitable IT tools and specific glossaries (which are often provided by the customer).

Stages of a translation project
Text analysis
Definition of the style and register of the original document, to seek corresponding vocabulary and grammatical structures in the target language.
Terminological analysis
Compilation of a technical glossary appropriate to both the language used in the sector and the type of text. The customer should check and approve this glossary.
Translation
Rewriting of the text in the target language using the results of the above analyses.
Quality control
Checking of the content's completeness and its compliance with the original document. Final checks of spelling, grammar, style and easy comprehension, as well as uniformity of technical vocabulary, names and measuring units. Addition of translator's notes where necessary, checking of lay-out and formatting.
